Yes, food and drinks are allowed on most motorcoaches as long as passengers pick up trash and clean up any spills afterward. Many bus providers request that you refrain from bringing glass bottles and messy foods. If your group doesn’t clean up after yourselves thoroughly, you may be charged a cleaning fee.

The minimum age to drive a vehicle with EZU is 21 years of age. All drivers must hold a current, full and valid driver's licence, that has been valid for a minimum of 12 consecutive months. A young driver surcharge may apply.

All vehicles in our Christchurch City and airport locations include car rental insurance in the quoted daily rate. We call this our “Basic insurance.” Full insurance, with a lower excess, can be purchased at the time of booking. A quote your insurance options will be given when you start your booking. We do not charge booking or credit card fees, all pricing includes GST, and we guarantee no hidden costs.

A current and full motor vehicle driver’s licence is required and must be produced upon vehicle collection. Should a foreign licence be in a language other than English, it must be accompanied by an accredited English translation.
